1 LIFE-CYCLE HYPOTHESIS
Гипотеза жизненного цикла
Гипотеза о том, что текущее потребление зависит не только от текущего чистого дохода, но также связано с ожидаемым пожизненным доходом. Молодой человек, например, может позволить себе купить дом в кредит, поскольку его ожидания связаны с увеличением доходов в будущем (перспективы карьерного роста, реальная возможность повышения базисных ставок зарплаты и т.д.), что позволит ему погасить свои долги. Человек в возрасте, наоборот, будет ограничивать свое потребление, понимая, что после выхода на пенсию его доходы будут только сокращаться. Экономическое значение гипотезы заключается в том, что в краткосрочном периоде уровень потребления может быть выше или ниже уровня, определяемого величиной текущего чистого дохода. См. 8 PERMANENT-INCOME HYPOTHESIS
Теория постоянного дохода
Кон цепция, предложенная М. Фридманом, в которой утверждается, что текущее потребление зависит не только от текущего чистого дохода, но и от ожиданий того, каким будет этот доход - постоянным или временным. Как доход, так и потребление разделяются на две части - постоянную и временную. Постоянный доход человека состоит из долгосрочного заработка (зарплата, жалованье), пенсии по старости и доходов на вложенный капитал( проценты, дивиденды). Величина постоянного дохода определяет планирование постоянного потребления, например, покупку дома и, следовательно, долгосрочных расходов на погашение ипотечного кредита. Временный доход - это краткосрочный заработок за сверхурочную работу, премии, непредвиденные доходы (выигрыш или наследство) и др. Может также иметь место внезапное сокращение дохода - временная безработица или болезнь. От размера временного дохода зависит временное потребление, например, дополнительный отпуск. Экономическое значение концепции заключается в том, что в краткосрочной перспективе уровень потребления может быть выше или ниже уровня, который обусловлен уровнем текущего располага емого дохода (см. 9 CONSUMPTION FUNCTION
Функция потребления
Соотношение между зависимой величиной (потребительскими расходами) и некоторыми независимыми переменными, определяющими величину потребления (текущим чистым доходом, ранее полученными доходами, богатством семьи). Иначе говоря, потребление есть функция дохода. По мере роста доходов, при прочих равных условиях, растет и потребление, хотя и более низкими темпами, что объясняется стремлением сберегать часть дохода, т.е. в количественном соотношении потребители тратят меньше, а сберегают больше.
